ARKAI founders Jonathan Miron and Philip Sheegog want to bring people together with their unique music that fuses classical and electronic elements.

Both classically trained at Juilliard, Jonathan and Philip started their collaboration through a spontaneous jam session at Juilliard. When other students in the room got up and danced around them, they knew something special was there. That special chemistry has grown and evolved as ARKAI set out to develop sounds that bridge the gap between traditional and mainstream music, drawing audiences from diverse backgrounds and demographics.

ARKAI's debut album “Crossroads" is a collaboration with the Grammy-winning producer Jonas W. Karlsson. It was developed around the notion of dreams. "What if our dreamscape shifts our reality?" Jonathan speaks about the evolution of ARKAI, through which the two musicians shifted from their classical path into an exciting journey of creating genre-bending music. The Adams Theater audience will have a first-hand opportunity to preview "Crossroads" on Friday, July 26.

ARKAI also has a special connection with the Berkshires, starting with a SOLD-OUT performance in 2022 at The Foundry in West Stockbridge. The 2024 "Crossroads" album preview tour will feature two stops in the Berkshires. After the show at the Adams Theater, they will return to The Foundry for a second performance on Saturday, July 27.

ARKAI is a winner of the 2021 Astral Artists National Competition. Recent highlights include opening for Oscar and Grammy-winning musician Jon Batiste in NYC and a feature at GRAMMYs on the Hill in Washington D.C.. ARKAI is a voting member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs).
