2026 BERKSHIRES STORYSLAM

Storyteller Application Instructions

For one incredible weekend this summer, a group of diverse storytellers from the local community will be competitively selected to tell incredibly true tales on stage at the Adams Theater (8/15) and The '62 Center for Theatre and Dance at Williams College (8/16) to celebrate the pride, spirit, and tenacity of the Berkshires.

The following outlines the application process.

YOUR STORY:

We’d like for you to tell a true story on any topic of your choosing. That said, audiences are often most moved by stories of failure, missteps, and the beautiful messiness of being human. We encourage you to share a story about a mistake, regret, loss, or another pivotal moment that required vulnerability and courage. To inspire ideas, explore How to Tell a Story, browse The Moth’s Website, and watch the 2025 Berkshires StorySLAM trailer.
