"BONES OF THE ADAMS THEATER", AN IMMERSIVE PROJECTION EXPERIENCE
OCTOBER 31, 2021, 4 - 8 PM
October 31st, 2021 - Adams Theater unveiled "Bones of the Adams Theater", an immersive projection experience from 4 pm to 8 pm. Over 400 visitors from Adams, North Adams, Pittsfield, Williamstown, and other nearby communities meandered through 8,000 sqft of projector-powered installations in Adams Theater's auditorium.
The auditorium was a movie cinema that connected generations of local residents from 1938 to 1967. It is now taking on new dimensions that stretch from nostalgia to technology, from artistic experiments to community building, from spatial reimagination to a collective effort of activating the heart of downtown.
This haunted theater experience was designed and built by the following team:
Joe Wheaton, Mitch Nash, Seth Nash, Michael Rousseau, Jacqui Gero & Hunter, Deborah Carter, Parker Chandler, Ed Martin, Noel Henebury, Sharae Gadson, James Stenson, and Yina Moore
Special Thanks to Adams Lions Club for sponsoring the event Permits and Much Appreciation to our event volunteers: Barbara Cardillo, Katherine Haig & Josh Giroux, Heather Linscott, Patti Sniezek, Linda Wooten, Molly Hess, and many more ...
