Adams Theater sponsored two performances on stage during its first Community Open House at the all-day Susan B. Anthony Festival in downtown Adams. Berkshire Dance Theater presented students and faculty works at 2:30 pm, and Sheryl Faye performed the life story of Susan B. Anthony at 5 pm. Both storefront spaces were configured for community engagement events, including a video installation, an art exhibition with vintage ticket stubs, and a pop-up souvenir shop. Over 300 people visited Adams Theater and attended the performances.

Adams-based artist Alvin Ouellet created this gorgeous collage outside of Adams Theater based on the Susan B Anthony Festival on Park Street, capturing the spirit of the day when hundreds of community members gathered downtown for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

Special thanks to the Adams Suffrage Centennial Celebration Event Committee and our event volunteers: Gail Sellers, Katherine Haig, Jack Savage, Lauryn Levesque, Barbara Bozek, Julie Heritage, Amy Gladu, and many more ...
